Double feature

First, I would like to announce my new Facebook page:  http://www.facebook.com/TheTeachingChameleon .  Come visit and interact with me and other teachers!

Secondly, I would like to share my new unit on the Ancient Egyptians.  I am currently using this with my 3rd grade enrichment group who had just finished their Titanic unit.

This free unit includes a timeline, game, references, and slides (in PDF form).  I will be linking to both TpT and Google Docs below.  This is 30 pages total.  Believe it or not, the timeline was the most difficult thing to make, as I had to make sure all three pages matched up and that the lines were close to where they should fall in chronological order!  I am a little more than satisfied with the results.  You will need to paste them together, but it wasn't too difficult (once printed).

I asked the kids what they wanted to study about the Ancient Egyptians and with no shock there they asked to study the mummification process.  They also wanted to know more about the kids, what they looked like, their beliefs, the pyramids, and their games.  The game included is called Mehen and is the last picture.
